Hey babes! I have been seeing these all over!! Aren’t they great…that is until you go to buy one and it costs around $20. I created a quick DIY video < watch it here> Sharing how to make these beautiful indoor garden scapes for less than $10…That’s right..you can create these on your own for way cheaper than you can buy them in the store.
WHAT YOU NEED
Glass Globes – I found these glass globes on Amazon for cheap! They come in packs of two and three’s for around $10
Soil – This potting soil was at Lowes for $2
Wire or thread – I picked this up at Walmart for $1
Plants – You can use air plants that don’t require soil or your favorite succulent, These were at Lowes as well for $2
Hardware – If you plan on hanging these from the ceiling you’re going to need a hook. These are great, you can screw them in yourself and they are cheap!
I start by placing soil the back of the globe. Carefully add plants and pack soil with fingers. I like to add small rocks to keep the soil packed and for looks. These are super easy to maintain, make sure the soil stays moist and your plants will love you! I water mine every other day, giving them a few tablespoons of water. If you see water starting to pool up in the bottom of the globe you’re watering them too much!
